From the Ferry: Most visitors to Beaver Island staying more than a few days opt to take the ferry, run by the Beaver Island Boat Company. Click on the link to check ferry schedules and rates. If you plan to bring a vehicle over on the ferry, it's best to make reservations well in advance. To get to the cottage from the ferry landing, as you face away from the boat, you'll head south (left) out of town.

After passing the Shamrock and the hardware store, make a right on to Donnegal Bay road then a quick left and you're now on King's Highway. You'll pass Welke Airport on your left. Keep going past Paid een Og's Road on your right and continue on until you see Tom McCauley's Road on your left. Turn left here and take the road out to East Side Drive. Turn right on to East Side Drive and keep driving past the Bill Wagner Campground on your left, past the Peaine Fire Station on your right and keep going until you see 30930 come up on your left hand side. Pull in and you have arrived.

By Airplane: There are two airports on Beaver Island. Island Airways flies into Welke airport and Fresh Air Aviation arrives at Beaver Island Township Airport. Welke this airport empties out on to East Side Drive, the same road as the airport. As you drive south (right) out of the airport, keep driving until you pass Tom McCauley's Road, the Bill Wagner Campground and past the Peaine Fire Station.

From the Beaver Island Township Airport, drive south (right) out of the airport and take this to Fox Lake Road. Turn left on to Hannigan's Road. Keep driving until this empties out onto East Side Drive and keep going until you pass the Bill Wagner Campground and past the Peaine Fire Station. A sign for 30930 will appear in front of the entrance.
